When I get new clients that come in with acne concerns, about 50% of the time they don't know what the active ingredients are in their skin care regimen. Although they may be using a mild cleanser and moisturizer, sometimes those cleansers and moisturizers may not be targeting the acne or making the issue worse.

Sometimes my clients come in and tell me they their dermatologists gave them prescriptions that never worked. The problem I found with that is because the doctor had failed to find the root cause of the acne. One of factors is because the client did not know what products to use or treatments needed to target acne.
